Verdict

COMBE HAY’s ability to handle the track has to be taken on trust but she has the best piece of form with a second at Haydock in September and has been placed in all three starts. Phantom Dancer ran well for second in testing ground at Redcar on her debut and is preferred to stablemate Dusky Dawn, who was well beaten here earlier this month. Catalan makes her racecourse debut but Hughie Morrison has a decent strike rate with his three-year-old runners here and she could figure.
