Verdict

Most of these are old foes but MONSIEUR JIMMY (NAP) has come out best of them of late. Declan Carroll’s charge beat Spowarticus, subsequent Chelmsford winner Colourbearer and Fortinbrass over track and trip last month before landing a claimer more recently with Speightowns Kid behind. The latter had also beaten Fortinbrass earlier when landing a double at the start of the year while the veteran Alpha Tauri has done all his winning on this surface and still pops up on occasions.
