Verdict
Kingston Town can land this weak maiden, with White Park Bay, Sophrano and Recall three others to consider. In what is not the strongest of events confined to three-year-olds, Kingston Town makes most appeal based on his efforts so far. Unraced as a juvenile, Nick Littmoden¿s gelding was slowly away on both of his first two starts, at Pontefract and Doncaster, but caught the eye on his third public outing. That was on his all-weather bow at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, when positive tactics nearly paid off. Ridden to lead two furlongs out, it was only in the final strides that he had to give best to the hot favourite Rezzago, and a reproduction of that form will make him hard to beat. White Park Bay has to be respected on the pick of her form that included a short-head defeat at Wolverhampton in July. Sophrano comes from a yard that always does well with its runners on the artificial surface, while Recall made eye catching late progress on her Nottingham debut and will surely be found a suitable opportunity over the winter. For now though, we prefer the claims of Kingston Town who is the pick on form.
