A penalty for This One's For Pat may have put to bed his chances so JORDI ROPER gets the vote in a wide open race to finish the meeting with Transmission and Vogarth also in with a decent shout. This One's For Pat has been given a six pound penalty for his victory over the minimum trip here last time. He was only a winner by a length and struggled to get home so there are too many doubts around him to be confident. Jordi Roper, our selection, is an unexposed maiden who hasn't exactly set the world alight but has been consistent enough to register a couple of places in nine starts. His career best came here over course and distance and with the advantage of receive weight from the other main protagonists it might be good enough form. Transmission has a similar profile to the selection but the form is a little weaker while Vogarth was a winner over course and distance on his penultimate start but struggled as a result of the inevitable rise in rating. To be honest a number of these could win it with Jordi Roper well placed to do that.
