In depth
Verdict
A poor handicap with only a speculative vote going to GUISHAN. The latter included a win over track and trip when landing a hat-trick earlier in the year and has subsequently gone close on the Turf off a similar mark to today's. Claim The Roses won twice on the all-weather last year but was tailed off at Newmarket back in April while Saint Pos is a winner in France but looked high enough in the weights on his debut for current connections at Wolverhampton. Canyari has been off the track since July and Whaleweigh Station has only won a maiden race so far.
