      Verdict

      Master Dan won a maiden contest over 1m4f here and ran well again stepped up to 1m6f last time. Luv U Whatever made the frame over a longer trip at the track on his latest start and makes more appeal than Karam Albaari, who continues to struggle. But LEAN ON PETE scored off a higher mark over course and distance earlier this year and has the beating of Hussar Ballad on latest running at Wolverhampton where he finished runner-up. Ollie Pears' charge may well come good again in this.
