In depth

Verdict

Those with previous experience make very limited appeal so this may be best left to Keynes, who hails from a top yard that rarely waste their visits to the all weather surfaces. Reaching Out looks the pick over stablemate Ugly Sister as another to keep a close eye on in the betting though, and a positive move could prove to be significant for this son of Desert Prince. Hidden Jewel has some experience of the track and should have benefited from his debut run earlier in the month. However, that form is nothing out of the ordinary and he may just need a little more time. Therefore, we return to Keynes, whose yard already has a 28 % strike-rate with it's juveniles this season. This half-brother to the useful Infinite Spirit and Flinders will not need to be anything special to cope with this bunch today and he looks the one to beat if he handles the surface. Reaching Out was quite an expensive purchase in the context of this race and he is the one expected to give Keynes the most to do on his debut.
