In depth
Verdict
Torrent is taken to score here, with Sabana, Sergeant Slipper and Spy Master also in with a shout. Torrent is a bit of puzzle to work out and let his supporters down here last time when third to Sergeant Slipper. He meets that rival on six-pound better terms though and should turn the tables. He was rated much higher in his prime and although better at five furlongs, should cope with this trip. Sabana won a poor seller at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, having not won for over two and a half years, and needs to improve, while Spy Master, although running into form, falls into the same category. Sabana's stablemate Enjoy The Buzz is consistent enough and has the assistance of George Duffield, so should go well, but we will take Torrent to oblige.
