Bahamian Love has a live chance on these terms and gets the nod over World Spirit and Rue Soleil; although any support for newcomer Cape Free would also be noteworthy. The last named is out of a sister to the useful Abeyr and appeals as one to bear in mind for future reference; albeit at a modest level. Ed Vaughan has been unlucky not to have got off the mark with his juveniles this season and looks to have found an ordinary contest in which to introduce this daughter of Mark Of Esteem. Rue Soleil has already had several chances and is not one to be relying upon too heavily. However, she is consistent enough to recommend for each-way backers to think about and it would not come as a surprise to see John Weymes' filly go close. World Spirit showed marked improvement at Newcastle last month and shapes as if a maiden success will be a formality for her. She is going the right way and strong market support would be very dangerous to ignore. However, Bahamian Love has the edge in terms of experience and, as the switch to an artificial surface is expected to be taken in her stride, the Barry Hills-trained filly (who would be giving weight away all round were this a handicap) edges a narrow vote of confidence on this occasion.
