    Verdict

Komreyev Star gets the call over Tartan Special, with Spring Time Girl, and Tacid a couple more to consider. Komreyev Star lost nothing in defeat at Ayr last time, having come out second best in a battle with Boppys Pride, the pair clear. Successful the time before at Musselburgh, he should make a bold bid to bounce back. Tartan Special has to give weight away all round but a recent victory at Kempton puts him in the frame, while Spring Time Girl has been very consistent in defeat and is another that was fancied last time out. Tacid has winning form over the course-and-distance, so can also not be totally ruled out, but for the winner we return to Komreyev Star.
