Verdict
Gan Eagla is not the easiest of rides, but should have too much class for these and can beat Rathfeigh Lad and Bob's Lad. The Venetia Williams trained gelding tried to run out at the fourth last time at Worcester and did well under the circumstances to finish third to Cross The Highman. If Sam Thomas can keep this one in line today he will be difficult to beat. Rathfeigh Lad ran well over course and distance last time when third behind Numitas. That was his first outing over hurdles so improvement can be expected. Donald was very disappointing on his hurdles debut at Uttoxeter but he has a put up some decent performances on the flat and may be much better than that run suggests. Any market move for newcomer Bob's Lad should be heeded, but in a modest contest, Gan Eagla looks the one to be on.
