Verdict
This feature handicap could fall to the consistent Manoram, with In Discussion and Hit Royal put forward as the main dangers. Following an effortless victory at Perth, the selection has put up two decent efforts in defeat, finishing runner-up behind both Johnny Grand and Northern Flash. In both cases he wasn't beaten far so he does deserve to win a race of this nature. In Discussion beat the selection by six lengths at Bangor in July, but may find it difficult to confirm the form on 16 pounds worse terms. A bigger threat should be Hit Royal who was most impressive when beating Day Du Roy over course and distance last time, he holds his form well and can make light of his penalty. Of the others Jaboune looks nicely weighted and should figure in the finish, but Manoram doesn't know how to run a bad race and gets the verdict.
