In depth

Verdict

Percy Street is hard to catch right and it will be intriguing to see if he enjoys conceding weight to lesser types, although he's also yet to convince that jumping fences is something he's going to relish. In contrast, joint topweight Between The Waters is reliable and consistent and continues to run his race despite a seemingly inevitable ascent through the ratings. He gets on particularly well with Page Fuller. Robin Des People, not beaten far on a first run for the O'Brien team, is respected but WHAT A LAUGH took this event last year and there's no sign of any diminution of form or enthusiasm in his fifteenth year. Another good run is expected from the veteran.
