In depth

Verdict

Glimpse Of Gold is usually a reliable conveyance and should give the improving Charlie Price a good spin off topweight. Caveat Emptor wasn't beaten far last time and Rasasee made his first start for the Brace team a winning one at Worcester this month. He has a clear chance if that improved level is repeated here. Sin Sin makes a return from wind surgery after posting efforts that read creditably in this grade but the choice is BLACK ANTHEM. The Dr Newland yard has garnered a richly deserved reputation for eliciting significant improvement in inmates joining from another yard and hopefully can work the oracle once again with this Royal Anthem gelding who starts life in his new environment on a perfectly workable handicap mark.
