In depth
Verdict
A hugely disappointing race from a betting point of view as it is extremely hard to look beyond Mighty Montefalco who will start at cramped odds after an easy course and distance success last month. Value for much more than the official winning margin of just less than two lengths, Jonjo O'Neill's charge has by far the best form and it will be a major shock if he is unable to defy his 6lb penalty in this company. Jay Bee Ell, who will appreciate the step up in trip having looked very one-paced over shorter, looks best of the remainder.
