Verdict

It's a long time since French Opera showed any worthwhile form and Comeonginger steps up a grade but the remaining half-dozen all appear to have some sort of chance in a competitive handicap. Gray Hession is better than he showed at Kempton while Hepijeu was with the leaders when falling at Haydock and, like Chepstow third No Likey, is a previous course and distance winner. Turn Over Sivola struggles to get his head in front but remains well treated and looks sure to play a part. Mick Easterby has a good strike rate with the few runners he sends here and though SHADOWS LENGTHEN hasn't had much racing over the last couple of years he retains plenty of ability and should enjoy this sharp track. Ericht is still 8lb higher than when winning at Kempton in February.
