Verdict
This has been run twice and David O'Meara has won both. He has three entries this time around, Danny Tudhope is on board SALATEEN, who made all over the course and distance on fast ground last summer and has been taking on better company. He's given the nod to carry his big weight to victory. Valley of Fire made a successful racecourse debut here in 2014 but has had very little racing subsequently and was beaten a long way on his reappearance in the Victoria Cup at Ascot. Lincoln had dropped to a fair mark when a close third behind Russian Realm at Goodwood but could have done without a 2lb rise while Glen Moss only ever wins at this trip so did well to finish so close over 6f at the Dante Meeting. Georgian Bay is normally very consistent at this trip though he's never won on Turf in 19 starts.
