Verdict
Schinken Otto has conditions and trip to suit and may just about get the better of Jam Roll here, with Dalriath among those running for the frame. Schinken Otto does tend to reserve his best for Uttoxeter, as a three times winner there, but he ran well enough here once before, he jumps well and he was close from this mark last time, so he is just given the nod over Jam Roll. Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old was not entirely fluent at Bangor on debut and has to lump plenty of weight around here for one with little experience, so in spite of his yard's recent run he is taken on. Dalriath has a poor run to put behind him from last time out but went well here off this same mark the time before and so is respected, while c&d scorers Young Owen and Deep King just look to have a bit too much weight at present and Schinken Otto is the suggestion.
