In depth

Verdict

AMERICAN TOM (NAP) came up against a useful sort in a seller at Fakenham on his first run for Olly Murphy - he should strip fitter today and can recoup losses. Vancouver won in this grade over a similar trip at Taunton but has a small penalty to carry, as does the selection’s stable companion Cliffside Park. Ardera Cross has been placed in all four starts for the Dan Skelton yard but hasn’t looked like winning any of the last three. Carrigmoorna Matt would have been suited by a longer trip and softer going than he’ll encounter today.
