Verdict
The consistent front-runner Ei Ei can burn off Enitsag, with Master T and Ben Ewar playing for the places as well. Ei Ei has been a credit to connections, winning 15 times in all, including here last time. That was off a career-high mark of 134 but was gained in class C company, so this step down in grade should hold no fears for the eight-year-old. He can outbattle Enitsag, who although successful in four of his eight outings, does not always impress with his jumping and the horse that beat him last time, Warminghamsharpish, was beaten at Sedgefield on Tuesday. Ben Ewar is paying the penalty for past achievements, while Master T has taken time to come to hand. He can run on into a place, but by then Ei Ei should have left his rivals behind.
