Verdict
Laoch Dubh can defy top weight here, but several have to be considered as having realistic chances, including Dancewiththedevil and Charge It. The selection carries a penalty for success at Uttoxeter a week ago, when making all in a similar race. Similar tactics may be employed today on what is the only runner on the card for trainer Charlie Mann. Charge It has more than a stone less to carry round, has done well this summer at Newton Abbott and Worcester when coming from off the pace. Tony McCoy will want to stay in touch with Laoch Dubh, but may be prepared to bide his time Dancewiththedevil is another consistent sort who'll probably be held up. Think of the Money is making her seasonal debut and has won here in the past, but we think the most likely winner is Laoch Dubh.
