Verdict

Some interesting prospects from top yards clash with NORTHOFTHEWALL taken to defy his penalty. A decisive Hereford winner on his penultimate start, he was far from disgraced when sixth of 13 in the Lanzarote Hurdle and will find the return to novice company a less taxing assignment. Royal Crown should come on for a respectable hurdling debut at Uttoxeter in October but Brewers Project looks the most potent threat for the champion trainer after showing considerable promise when fourth on his hurdling debut in a decent Newbury contest. Improvement is assured and he's one to note here and for the future.
