Verdict

SHANROE IN MILAN relished better ground when scoring last time and the Longsdon inmate - up 8lb as a consequence - is obviously best suited by a decent surface. The forecast is for soft ground but he's in form and should go well as he does act on such conditions too. Shoal Boy is in a consistent vein of form and should be in the shake-up despite being upped 1lb for a recent defeat and both As I Se It and Plantagenet would be in with a decent shout if delivering their best. Darling Maltaix is far from easy to catch right as he requires exaggerated waiting tactics but he gets on really well with Lorcan Williams and will be dangerous if everything falls right.
