A field large in numbers but low in quality and a chance is taken on Rescindo. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard was a good second behind North Point last time out under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Perouse rates the main danger he was a good second behind Dollar Law in a much better race last time out and this represents a drop in class. However he found little off the bridle on that occasion and for that reason he is over looked. Tarboush would also be worthy of consideration on his last run, a third behind Unleash. However he is a hard puller and he will need to settle early if he is to get home over this longer trip. Fly Buy Dubai ran as if he was a none stayer last time and he is best watched on this occasion. Of the remainder Night Music has shown a modicum of ability and he could go well at a big price.
