Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and a chance is taken on Un Jour A Vassy the gelding is from the bang in form Paul Nicholls yard was a good second behind Moore Lane under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Simber Hill rates the main danger he is a course and distance winner who is proven on the ground and he is sure to go well with Andrew Thornton taking the ride. Prince Sorinieres is from a top yard and he is worth a look in the market but he has shown virtually nothing on different types of ground of late. Bold King won a claiming hurdle last time out but he will find this tougher off a higher mark back over fences. Influence Pedler has had many chances in similar contests and he is readily opposed.
