Ho Ho Hill looks the form pick in a tough race although Sendonthecheque and Jacks Jewel both hold reasonable claims on recent racecourse evidence. Ho Ho Hill was making headway when he unseated the rider with three fences to jump in a hotter contest at Newbury. He is still yet to win a race under rules but is at least used to running round this track and more importantly with these conditions underfoot. Sendonthecheque should ensure the pace with his customary front running tactics. He does have the tendency to hit his fences and will not be able to get away with those mistakes even at this lowly level. Jacks Jewel sparkled over a shorter trip at Exeter. That was his best show for some time although given his poor completion record, that would not be that difficult. Pete The Painter jumped poorly in a hunters' chase and is not recommended until there are slightly more positive signs. Celestial Heights makes a belated fencing debut while Silver Samuel has tumbled rapidly in the weights following a succession of modest efforts. Fast ground specialist Alcatras is watched in the market. A real headscratcher for punters in which minimum stakes are advised about Ho Ho Hill.
