In depth

Verdict

A tricky race with plenty of positives and negatives about many of the likely market protagonists and in light of that we prefer What A Mover to Wild Knight and Mazileo. What A Mover has the booking of leading amateur Polly Gundry and the pairing were not disgraced when finishing third at Ludlow to Cobreces on their debut under rules. Although not the easiest of rides, What A Mover should not be inconvenienced by today's prevailing conditions and is perhaps more pertinently in receipt of plenty of weight from her rivals. Wild Knight had a lofty reputation under rules when with Phillip Hobbs. He comes here after winning a weak race at Larkhill against weaker opposition. Mazileo was never sighted in the Fox Hunters Carbonado was an expensive flop when falling on his last point-to-point start. He is a maiden under rules after eighteen attempts but generally speaking is a relatively safe conveyance. Of the remainder, the likely front-runner River Quoile, who was recently turned over at short odds in a points race over three miles, makes some appeal. Not a race for the faint hearted and in acceptance of her limitations, What A Mover makes the most solid case.
