Verdict
A wide open affair here with not much between many of the rivals but the principles look to be Joli Saddlers, Madge Carroll and Water Sports and the tentative vote goes to Madge Carroll. The selection disappointed last time out on very tacky ground but prior to that she had been in the form of her life and with this faster ground sure to suit she is taken to get back on the winning trail. Joli Saddlers won well when defeating Court In The Act but that was back in 2001 so the likelihood is that this mare will need the run. Water Sports racked up a sequence of wins earlier in the season but looks to be in the grip of the handicapper at present. Bedford Leader is the other one worthy of consideration in an open contest, but for the winner we return to Madge Carroll.
