Verdict
Pharaway Citizen, Jacdor, Belski and Punchy are all shortlisted in this handicap chase and we will give the nomination to Jacdor. The 10-year-old won well at Kempton when defeating Benrajah and although he has a penalty for that success, he won with plenty in hand and is taken to score. Pharaway Citizen also won well last time out when defeating The Lyme Volunteer, but that was on heavy ground and he is not as effective on this much faster surface. Belski is another in form as he defeated It's Music last time, but he was all-out on that day and a further rise in the weights today would suggest he may just be in the handicapper's grip. The same comment would apply to Punchy, while Polar Scout won well at Market Rasen when defeating Conquer and he is another with place claims. This is a wide open affair but Jacdor won well last time and is given the vote.
