Verdict

Kauto The King has won eight times over fences but is 0-9 over timber. Quoi De Neuf is also best over fences, along with Pasvolsky, but Notre Pari has won three times over the smaller obstacles, as has Petrastar. Mulberry Hill won at Carlisle following wind surgery but didn’t run up to that form at Exeter. Love Actually was a winner over track and trip two weeks ago and Itso Fury is on a hat-trick but Wee Willie Nail has left Gordon Elliott’s yard since scoring at Gowran in September. IRISH HILL (NAP) will be 3lb higher from next week following a narrow defeat at Fontwell 11 days ago so looks the one to be on.
