Verdict

Lubatic will probably start favourite in this, as he has done the last twice, but he may be a few pounds too high. Jackthejourneyman has won three times over fences, including last time at Huntingdon, but has not so far scored over hurdles. FIGEAC ran way above expectations in a jumpers’ bumper last time, keeping on into third ahead of much higher rated rivals. If he can transfer that improvement back to hurdles, he is well treated on a mark of 100. Welluptoscratch may have each-way claims if the cheekpieces have the desired effect.
