In depth
Verdict
A seller by name and a seller by nature should principally concern the likes of Up The Glen, Devote and Lizzys First. The latter was successful at Hereford the time before last but failed to show the same sparkle here on 16 January. The drop in grade should help and he can make the frame at least. Devote is a course and distance winner and is getting back to his best, judged on his latest effort when third here behind Lord Brex. Richard Philips is in great form at present, and that augurs well for the chance of Up The Glen, successful in similar company at Hexham earlier in the season, and sure to be given a strong ride by Robert Thornton.
