Verdict

Top Trees and Adiysha are sure to have their supporters in this race but we will take a chance on Barrosa. The selection was nothing special on the flat but has so far hinted at ability over the obstacles and could be worth chancing here. He finished behind Adiysha last time out but will probably appreciate this step up in trip more than his rival. Adiysha failed to see out the trip when third behind Shaadiva last week at Wincanton so she looks opposable here over 2m3f. Top Trees has also got to enter calculations as he has shown a fair level of form over the obstacles, but he is also prone to throwing in the odd disappointing effort so is opposed for that reason. Of the rest, Jardin Fleuri hails from the Martin Pipe yard so has to be respected, but we are happy to side with Barrosa who might just be good enough to claim this race.
