In depth
Verdict
This is just as competitive as the first division with a couple of useful flat horses making their debut over timber. Code Sign, a frustrating customer, was runner-up five times on the flat and third on his only other outing. He has the unenviable record of being a beaten favourite in five of those six outings. Eight flights of hurdles could be the making of him and he is respected, however, he was some way behind Xtra in terms of ability on the flat and this Listed race winner could prove to be too classy for his rivals. No shortage of dangers including Watch The Dove, who was turned over by a Pipe hotpot here just after Christmas, but he may have to settle for minor honours here, while the penalised Kalca Morne looks to have too much on at this level.
