In depth

Verdict

Missing for almost a year shouldn't be a problem for Perange, who has gone well fresh in the past. 5lbs higher than when winning last time, he would appear to have every chance. Saddler's Realm will need to put behind him a poor effort last time, and there is also a suspicion he may be better on a stiffer track. Asparagus is a game and consistent sort, but he is 20lbs higher than his last winning mark, but Hidden Valley, despite his advancing years, is still capable and must have a squeak off an 8lbs lower mark than when last successful. A chance is taken with Indalo, who has faced some stiff tasks since winning his novice at Haydock. He will appreciate the drop in class and he is taken to regain the winning thread. Dual course winner Two Tears looks to have more too do in this company.
