Verdict
Some well-bred types are interspersed with the majority that look destined for handicap company and the market will be a valuable guide to what is expected from the likes of Warbeck as he makes his belated debut today. However, the Selkirk colt - a 250,000gns purchase - has a fair bit to do from his wide draw and will need luck on his side today. As will Night Air and Estepona, who are worth noting in running and should both be up to winning a small race somewhere along the line. However, Moors Myth, from almost the best of the draw, has a cracking chance to build on his close up third to an impeccably-bred sort from David Loder's yard when he made his reappearance at Newmarket just over a fortnight ago. The son of Anabaa comes here in preference to numerous entries over the coming week and a repeat of his run at Headquarters will make him very hard to beat today. Adaikali is also very well positioned from his place in the stalls and appeals as a likely type to do better as a three-year-old. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained colt has plenty of scope for the coming season and is well worth considering for an each-way play if the prices permit. However, Moors Myth may have a fitness edge over him today and a bold bid is anticipated from Barry Hills' charge.
