          Verdict

          Another really tough one to call but Chappel Cresent ran a blinder at Newmarket last time and, as Tough Love and Tedstale were well held on that occasion, he is given another chance today. Cat's Whiskers drops to a more appropriate trip and, along with Queens Rhapsody, is also well worth noting in the betting. While Sea Storm, Blue Spinnaker and Crispey Brook have a bit to do from their high draws. Therefore, this could be the day that Chappel Cresent finally ends his long losing run which stretches back to his racecourse bow in Ireland for Gerard Keene in the summer of 2002. However, he is now in the ideal hands if he is to recapture his sparkle and David Nicholls' charge is taken to score on his local track. Tough Love, although held by the selection on previous form, is taken as the biggest danger.
