Verdict

A small field goes to post for this maiden and on paper it looks a match between Furaat and Beaucette and the confident vote goes to Furaat. The filly from the John Gosden yard was a good second behind Anquood last time out and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Beaucette was a fair third behind Miss Ivanhoe but the drop back in distance is not sure to suit. In The Pink is also from a top yard and is worth noting in the market but she may do better in handicaps. The remainder need to better their best to trouble the judge.
