Legal Legacy is just 2lb higher than when winning this a year ago though the ground was much quicker that day. Hot Rod Mamma began her winning run on a mark of 48 and will be racing from 80 here after her fourth success at Ripon on Tuesday. West End Lad still looks on a fair mark despite winning at Leicester but it's CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL who gets the nod. Mick Easterby's charge ended the last campaign in fine form on soft ground and, having dropped dramatically in the weights, looked on the way back at Newcastle last week. Marvo and Petomic are running well enough to consider in an open contest.
