Verdict

Nawaaff has had a string of near misses and having not finished out of the first three as yet can land himself in the winners enclosure this time around at the expense of Royal Degree and Cordon Bleu. The selection has put up some bold shows this season and has looked a little unlucky on the odd occasion. He was not beaten far behind Gothenburg at Ayr on his latest start and with luck in running he can break his maiden tag. Royal Degree comes from a yard that has an excellent record with their two-year-olds so should be noted in the betting market while Cordon Bleu is dropped in grade after not being able to live with the class at York last time out, and will have an easier task here. But for the winner we return to Nawaaff who we feel can at last get his head in front.
