Violent Velocity is given the nod here with Cool Ebony and Emperor's Wall both worth noting. The selection was in winning form in the spring at Catterick and Musselburgh. His form has been consistent since then and he was not discredited at Carlisle last time out when third of fourteen. That run proved that he is more than capable of winning off this mark and he is taken to get back to winning ways today. Cool Ebony always come good at this time of the year. His last succes came at Bath back in August of last year. His form though looks on the up and is worth noting in the betting market. Emperor's Wall is having a great time at present, winning at Ripon and Beverley lately and carries a penalty for the latest of those wins. This will be his toughest task to date but is still a live danger. For the winner we return to Violent Velocity.
