Verdict
Chantaco, Secret Cavern and Mr Marucci look to be the principles in the opener and the confident vote is given to Chantaco. The selection ran well when second behind My Princess at Brighton last time and as he is sure to come on for the experience he looks the one to beat. Secret Cavern made a pleasing debut at Haydock when well down the field behind Look At The Stars. He ran very green that day and he wasn't given a difficult race so he is certainly worth noting in the market. Mr Marucci ran really well on his racecourse bow when beaten into fifth behind Secret History. He travelled well for much of that race before greenness took its toll inside the final furlong and he is another that has to be respected. Bold Counsel is another that ran well on his debut but he will need to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to Chantaco.
