Verdict

It may be a SIGNIFICANT MOVE that Roger Charlton has sent a horse this far and it can be rewarded with success as his charge should have little difficulty beating the likes of Huntingfortreasure and Taste The Victory. This son of Motivator was sent off a massive price before taking second in a traditionally warm maiden at Newbury. That day he made his ground from off the pace in taking fashion before lack of a run perhaps took its toll and he had to give best, but he really should have no trouble in seeing these off. Huntingfortreasure should also pick up a fair maiden but he's coming up against one who could be a cut above here. That said, Michael Dods' runner progressed through both starts as a juvenile and should improve, so if the likely favourite fails to give his running then he may pick up the pieces. Taste The Victory looks the pick of Alan Swinbank's pair having taken second on both starts, the last of which was over this distance. Siberian Sunset is out of a Sadler's Wells mare and will be seen to better effect when stepping up to middle distances in time. Minortransgression is another who can't be totally ruled out having gained a rating of 80, but he was beaten in a claimer last time and will find this tougher. Khandaq is probably better than he showed on his Ripon debut but has a lot of improving to do to trouble Significant Move who should win this with something to spare.
