Declan Carroll landed a nice touch with Whozthecat in this last year, so any strong support for his Newcastle nursery winner Watts Up Son should be noted. Recent Polytrack winner Sacrosanctus makes more appeal than stablemates Even Stevens and Boundless Spirit, while David Allan's presence on Berberana suggests she has the best chance of Tim Easterby's trio. Richard Fahey also runs three and Above The Stars makes most appeal of those on her first start since winning on her debut at Beverley a year ago. Barbieri finished a close-up fifth in a Listed race at Newmarket in October and can figure, but BALLISTA's excellent third in Redcar's Two-Year-Old Trophy earns Tom Dascombe's speedy gelding the vote.
