Verdict
Chiselled could be the answer to this tricky contest and he gets the narrow vote ahead of Bond Puccini and Coconut Moon. The selection finished ninth in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury behind Siena Gold last time out and that form is the best on show here. He had shown a good level of form prior to that run and looks to be going the right way so he is the logical choice. Bond Puccini missed the break and ran very green on his debut when last of seven runners at Musselburgh behind Alapage Le Jomage. This colt from the Bryan Smart yard is sure to benefit from that experience and it would be dangerous to dismiss him lightly. Coconut Moon is a well-bred filly from a yard in form and it would be no surprise to see her run well on her racecourse debut. However, she will have to be a decent sort to beat our selection but if the market speaks in her favour then it could pay to take the hint. Folga made a pleasing debut and is another with place prospects, but we will stick with Chiselled as the one they have to beat.
