The most competitive race on the card this, at least on paper, and although none can be immediately discounted, we favour Jaconet to be first home, ahead of Captain Dunne and Braille. The selection, like all bar Grudge, has winning form at this distance, most recently when making all in a decent race at York. Captain Dunne was second that day and Know No Fear back in fourth. Jaconet still has weight in hand on them, and should be able to confirm that form. Braille is chasing a double too, having won a lower grade handicap last time, and has the best draw. Marcus Botti's sending Tia Mia up from Newmarket as his sole representative and the draw could help help her too. But in an ultra competitive heat, we favour Jaconet.
