In depth

Verdict

David Evans sends Knock Bridge on the long journey up from Welshpool and after a good second in a big field at Nottingham he is sure to have his supporters. Beaten only a head that day he is race fit and must go well. Arnie De Burgh also showed ability last time to win a little race on the Polytrack at Lingfield but that was only a little race and he has not been out since December so he is overlooked. Sacranun is another who has shown ability, running a good race to be fourth at Haydock in a maiden back in September but we give the vote to Vancouver Gold. Having shown promise on his two runs last season he slammed his field by three lengths at Southwell on his seasonal re-appearance. That was a smart effort and well drawn in stall one here, he can follow up.
