Verdict
There is likely to be a an active betting market surrounding this contest as plenty of the field have scope for improvement. However, Flashing Blade returns to a more realistic level today and she looks the percentage call on these terms. Commando Scott did not enjoy the best of luck as a juvenile but still ran with a lot of credit and is a worthy alternative if the market speaks against the selection - while Volaticus ran well on his reappearance and can be expected to be sharper this time around. So too can Bollin Archie, who ran green at Doncaster but showed he was getting the hang of things near the finish. Time Easterby's colt should find a race in time but looks up against it in this company. Therefore, even though she looks flattered on a mark of 85, Flashing Blade has a fair chance on the terms of this race before going on to contest handicaps in the future.
