    Verdict

MONTATHAM is likely to be a short price in this, despite making a belated reappearance. A half-brother to two winners, he was staying on strongly at Newbury last October on his racecourse debut. Mogsy showed an appreciation for easier ground when second at Haydock but William Haggas trained the winner of that race should know where he stands. Sils Maria is having a first run on Turf following wind surgery while Bayraat cost only £10,000 and has a sprinting pedigree.
