Verdict
Lexington Knight scored at Doncaster to end a long losing run on the Turf while Ready To Shine opened her account with a victory at Thirsk. Gastronomy finished runner-up at Ripon on his debut for a new yard while V Twelve finished closer at Salisbury last time. But a chance is taken on the returning GENESIUS, who finished a close-up fourth at Lingfield back in January. The winner of that race has gone in again since and both placed horses have subsequently won.
